Most Wanted: Mass State Police Seek 3 Fugitives Wanted For Homicide

A trio of fugitives wanted for "the ultimate crime" have been added to the Massachusetts State Police most wanted list, officials say.

Wanted for three fatal shootings collectively, police are seeking three Eastern Massachusetts men, Luis Soto, Jerome Fordham, and David Lynch, "so that we may speak for their victims," according to Massachusetts State Police. 

Soto, 33, is wanted for shooting two men at a Dollar Tree store on North Montello Street in Brockton. Soto fired 16 shots inside the store on January 31, 2023, hitting two men and killing one of them. 

Soto is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his chest, neck, and arms. 

Police obtained an arrest warrant through Brockton District Court charging Soto with charges relating to murder. Soto is also wanted on an arrest warrant through Salem District Court for violating an abuse prevention order.

Soto is considered armed and dangerous. 

Fordham, 36, shot a man in the neck at the corner of Myrtle and Mason Streets in Taunton on November 6, 2022. His victim, 38-year-old Ross Copeland, of Raynham, was transported to Morton Hospital where he died of his injuries. 

Police determined that Fordham and Copeland were driving in a vehicle together and got into a physical fight that led to the shooting. 

Fordham, is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 190 pounds, and has black hair, and brown eyes. He has the word "mom" tattooed on his upper left arm, the letters “g-MO” and the name “Regina” on his lower left arm, and the word “paxville” on his right arm. He has close ties to Rhode Island and South Carolina. 

A warrant through Taunton District Court has been issued for Fordham's arrest, charging him with murder and related offenses. 

Fordham is considered armed and dangerous.

Lynch, 24, shot 26-year-old John Abreu Junior DePina multiple times after DePina approached the vehicle Lynch was occupying and the two got into an argument. DePina, who was shot on West Park Street in Brockton on November 2, 2022, died from his injuries. 

Lynch ran away from the scene of the crime with his gun and is wanted for murder charges on a warrant through Brockton District Court. Five more warrants are out for Lynch's arrest for firearms and narcotics charges issued out of Plymouth and Norfolk Superior Courts and Stoughton District Court.

Lynch is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has ties to Abington, Canton, and Weymouth. 

Lynch is considered armed and dangerous.
